A beauty face mask will go a long way to remove stress and tension to your face as well as treat skin conditions such as light acne, oily skin, dry skin, or aging skin. There are many beauty face masks on the market to choose from, all of which you can perform yourself. A face mask treatment can be obtained at a beauty, day, or health spa. They vary in price from inexpensive to costly. You can also make your own at home with products found around your house or purchased at your local grocery store. Let’s take a look at a few beauty face masks you can create at home.
Oatmeal and Yogurt Face Mask
This mixture is an all purpose face mask for any type of skin. It will cleanse and rejuvenate your skin. Mix together one tablespoon of finely ground oatmeal, one tablespoon of organic yogurt, and a few drops of warm honey. To warm the honey, hold a spoon under hot water for a few minutes. Add the honey to the spoon and let it sit for a minute or so before adding it to the mixture. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for about 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a warm wash cloth. Apply the moisturizer of your choice if so desired. This mask will make your skin feel silky smooth and flatten bumps and blemishes.
Banana Mask for Oily Skin
This face mask is good for absorbing excess oil from your skin. If you are prone to light break outs, this might be something to try. Mash a ripe banana and mix with one tablespoon of honey. Add a few drops of orange or lemon juice. Apply to your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with a warm, wet wash cloth. This mixture will reduce redness and spotting.
Avocado and Honey Mask
This beauty face mask is good for dry skin. The mixture will add natural moisture to your skin, especially mature skin. Mash one half of a ripe avocado into a creamy pulp. Mix in one quarter cup of honey. Apply to the skin and leave on for approximately 10 minutes. Rinse off with a cool, wet wash cloth. Apply your favorite moisturizer if desired.
Yogurt Mask for Sensitive or Sunburned Skin
This mask is great for skin irritated by the elements of the weather. Mix one cup of natural yogurt with one half cup of plain oatmeal. If you have oily skin, add a few drops of lemon or lime juice or if you have dry skin, add a few drops of honey to the mixture. Apply to the skin and leave on for 15 minutes. Wash the mask off with a steamed wash cloth, being careful not to burn your skin. Then you will have undone everything the mask just did.
